Quick take on some of the issues
Prop 13
Yes - seems pretty straight forward (well as straight as politically worded Proposition can get)
Prop 14
I think I'd have to say no. Politics is so shady as it is I don't want someone running that now does not have to at least say they believe in one party's platform. It is not the best solution but at least party lines give us an inkling of which way someone is leaning. Again kinda a gray area as all politicians usually tell you what you want to hear anyway.
Prop 15
No - I really don't want anyone telling anyone else how much money they can spend. Yes I would love for politicians to focus on the issues instead of raising money but I don't like the idea telling people what and how much money they can spend.
Prop 16
Very confusing arguments. One the one hand I would like to vote if the government decides to go into ANY business as I think they should stay far away from running anything. On the other hand why would PG&E be one of the largest contributors to this campaign? Seems a little suspicious. I am leaning towards NO but I would love any other feedback anyone has on this.
Prop 17
Whew talk about wordy and each argument seems to counter each other. I'll have to research a little more as we already in Natomas pay the HIGHEST car insurance rates in all of California if there is a way to lower rates because of a good driving history then that sounds good. However if insurance rates go much higher for even bad drivers they will simply drive without insurance which will cost me more money if they happen to wreck into me!!!
So I guess I have a few days to round up some more info Please let me know if you have any....
