It has been a while since I've posted anything as life is just to busy to do everything. I have recently been re-energized and feel a need to educate myself so that I am ready and armed with what I need to make good decisions. I found two wonderful helps I want to share with you. First www.asamom.org This is a web site for mom's that believe the following principals
1. America is good.
2. I believe in God and He is the Center of my Life.
3. I must always try to be a more honest person than I was yesterday.
4. The family is sacred. My spouse and I are the ultimate authority, not the government.
5. If you break the law you pay the penalty. Justice is blind and no one is above it.
6. I have a right to life, liberty and pursuit of happiness, but there is no guarantee of equal results.
7. I work hard for what I have and I will share it with who I want to. Government cannot force me to be charitable.
8. It is not un-American for me to disagree with authority or to share my personal opinion.
9. The government works for me. I do not answer to them, they answer to me.
and last but most important that Children are a gift from God
It has been so fun to join the California group and chat with other mom's in the area about everything from politics to education. It makes you feel better to know that there are hundreds of other people who have values and want to make a difference.
The other web site is National Center for Constitutional Studies if you look at the Webinar Archives you can listen to this most wonderful "class" on the founding fathers and America. I'm making Kyle and Braiden listen and it is so great. There are even Study guides you can print out and follow along with.
They say (not sure who but someone really really smart) that knowledge is power and I agree that I feel more confident in talking to people when I have facts behind what I say.
Please share with me what you think AND if you join as a mom .org make sure you add me as a friend. (and make sure you join your state's group)
